FormCoach ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

Camera Data

FormCoach uses your device's camera to analyze exercise form in real-time. All video processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. We do not transmit, store, or access your camera feed. No images or video leave your device.

Workout Data

Your workout sessions, form scores, rep counts, and exercise history are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not transmitted to any server.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to FormCoach Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple manages your subscription, billing, and receipts.

Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect usage analytics.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

No camera images or video recordings
No personal identification information (name, email, phone)
No location data
No health or biometric data beyond what you see in the app
No advertising identifiers
No third-party tracking

3. On-Device Processing

FormCoach is designed as a 100% on-device application. All AI processing, including pose estimation and form analysis, runs locally on your iPhone using Apple's Neural Engine. Your data never leaves your device.

4. Data Storage

All app data (workout history, settings, achievements) is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.

If you use iCloud, your device may back up app data as part of your standard iCloud backup. This is managed by Apple's privacy policies.

5. Push Notifications

If you enable workout reminders, FormCoach schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are not sent through any server — they are managed entirely by iOS.

6. Children's Privacy

FormCoach is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

Delete data: Delete workout history within the app, or delete the app entirely
Camera access: Revoke camera permission at any time in iOS Settings
Notifications: Disable notifications in iOS Settings
Subscription: Manage or cancel your subscription through the App Store

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
